This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Jackal Software LLC ("Jackal Software," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects mobile phone numbers and related information when you opt in to receive text messages from us. It supplements our general Privacy Notice at https://jackalsoftware.com/privacy. Where the two differ with respect to text messaging information, this SMS Privacy Policy controls.

Information we collect

When you opt in to receive text messages from Jackal Software, we collect your mobile phone number, your name, the date and time of your consent, and the content of any messages you send us.

How we use it

We use this information only to send the text messages you agreed to receive, such as replies to your inquiries, appointment reminders, and updates about our services, and to process opt-out and help requests.

No sharing of mobile information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade mobile phone numbers or SMS consent. All sharing categories described in our general Privacy Notice, including business transfers, exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties. The only exception is the service providers that deliver our text messages on our behalf (our messaging platform and mobile carriers), who may use it solely for that purpose.

Opting in

You opt in by checking the SMS consent box on our website contact form. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.

Opting out and getting help

Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no more messages will be sent. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at shad@jackalsoftware.com. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
